ENT

QUALITY

OVERVIEW OVER THE ADVANTAGES:

  • Access to very small anatomical regions
  • Examination and treatment of outpatients
  • High light sensivity
  • Excellent optical quality
  • Wide range of different models
  • Individual models for specification

Users of this new technology, ENT specialists in particular, but also doctors of other medical fields, will have the possibility to obtain endoscopic images of very small anatomical regions.

Possible regions of application are for instance the frontal sinus, middle ear or physiological ducts with a small lumen like the salivary ducts within the parotis, the tear passages, the spinal canal as well as the access to acoustic neurinomas.

Great light sensivity, the outstanding optical presentation on the monitor screen as well as the availability of different types of rigid endoscopes allow an easy handling to the surgeon or the examinating specialist. In the past the visualisation of especially small lumen anatomical regions was very difficult or impossible. Concrements within the salivary ducts had to be surgically removed. By using Micro Endoscopes with integrated laser working channel and suction/irrigation channel the concrements can be easily removed by applying them in an outpatient unit. Especially the application of Micro Endoscopes for outpatients is an interesting aspect of the Micro Endoscopes.

Another very important aspect of using Micro Endoscopes is the possibility of adjusting them to the particular demand of the individual user. Going beyond the standard range of our Micro Endoscopes we are generally able to construct devices according to the exact specifications of the applier. Of course there are also technological limits for specifications.
